No compound comparisons have been published yet. This page explains how future comparisons will be structured.
Compare the evidence
Place study designs and limitations next to one another before drawing a conclusion.
Same question, different evidence
Compare matching endpoints rather than collecting claims from unrelated papers.
Keep uncertainty visible
Separate mechanisms, preliminary findings and clinical observations. A large literature is not automatically a strong conclusion.
| Compare | What the reader should check |
|---|---|
| Study model | Cell culture, animal model or human study; avoid treating them as interchangeable. |
| Endpoints | What was measured, at what time point, and against which control? |
| Limitations | Sample size, bias, replication and relevance to the research question. |
A comparison should distinguish different study models and endpoints, with a reference beside each substantive claim.
