Glutathione

Glutathione is a molecule made by the body from three amino acids. Cells use its reduced form, GSH, to transfer electrons in reactions that help handle peroxides and other reactive compounds. Studies of extra glutathione have produced different results depending on how it was given and what was measured: oral trials disagree about changes in blood and cellular stores, and an intranasal Parkinson trial did not outperform placebo.
